Does anyone know of scent free gun oil. l like to put some on my Phoenix before l bring it out in the bush for Turkey. Not that Turkey care but it helps all the screws from rusting. l put some gun oil on them before l put the bow away for the winter but man did it smell. l just don't want it smelling especially for deer season.
Thanks

Scent free gun oil
Has anyone tried "Camellia oil"?
It is odourless and is used as a rust preventative and lubricant on any metal parts.
Originated with the Japanese, and it can be also used as a skin emollient by the ladies!
How's that for a dual function oil!
I have some, and it is a unique product.

Here is an extract from the Blade Gallery on camellia oil.
It also works on any high carbon content steel such as gun barrels as a rust preventative:
Size: Applicator & 3 oz bottle
Description: For centuries, camellia oil has been used to protect the finest Samurai swords. A small amount applied to your carbon steel knives will keep them free of corrosion and rust. Camellia oil is non-toxic and non-allergenic. Accompanied by traditional applicator.
I just googled the name, and found one that is being sold as a metal preservative.
As I said above,it is a skin emollient, and can also be used as a food additive, being very similar to olive oil for properties.
