A bald/hairless squirrel :?: I have one running around in the back yard that is hairless except for it's tail .... will try and post a good picture as this one is not that great. He looks grey but it is bald.

Yep.
You can take the man out of the woods but you can't take the woods out of the man.

Never seen a bald squirrel, as already said maybe mange . A bad thyroid could do it as well .

Well what you all think should I take him out of the gene pool? Sure dont need no mange, a little concerned about my dogs. The bushy tail seems to be eating good and if mange or worms wounder why it still has a full bushy tail :?:

There's a damn racoon that's gonna be bald soon if he doesn't quit coming in my back yard. I chased the peckerhead around my backyard the other night. Damn thing is about the size of my block target. I know that because he thought he could hide behind it till I chased after his dumb arse.

Read that Bob, I will just keep a watch on that bushy tail and see how nature takes care of it. Sure seems like it is doing well and eating good, may just be a real old one, still can't figure why it would be bald all over but still have a full bushy red tail :?

Nature works in funny ways sometimes, just look at TYE :!:
