Got to send my lumi=zone back

Post by wildwindom »

   Just got it yesterday as you all know. Well later on that night i was really checking it out.Well the dial you use to turn it on has 0 - 11 on it going from dim to the brighter. well as i was turning it i got to number 9 and it turned off then turned back on when i flipped it to ten   so i got to send it back. Im shipping it to archery plus and he will send me a new one   as soon as he gets it. I havent got my vortex in the mail yet so really no loss yet. It shouldnt take that long because he is here in ohio.

I picked up mine and gave it look over. All seemed in good order.
When I read of your findings, I further rechecked mine to see how it performed. ALL IS WELL.!!!!!!
I am sure that you will have no difficulty with yours.
I hope to line it up this weekend and so will give it the final test, but I am quite pleased with it and am sure it will be. By all the favourable comments on this forum, I am looking forward to sighting-in this weekend.

I picked up a lumizone and noticed the same thing. However, the zero point is not the top position of the dial. It is actually at 9 oclock and not at 12 oclock.

Not the design I would have chosen, but everything makes sense, when you look at it that way.

Hi wildwindom:

Sorry to hear about your New Scope. :( I have the Lumizone set up on my Exomax. Works perfect, sighted perfect, Brightness dial is right on. Can't say anything bad about the Scope. 8) It really is awsome.

It's definitely a flaw, probably a bad contact point. I've heard it happening before with red dot scopes.

As Comfy Bear stated, I had a bad contact on my red dot scope for my turkey gun.
