SAXMAN UPDATE (as requested)

Post by saxman »

Hi all.
Well, its been almost a month since my sugery and all in all I am doing well.
Still a long way to go. I have taken a few steps back lately. I had to have a Biopsy and some fluid drained, they left a cathater in to aid in that so I am pretty sore. The new kidney was placed in my lower abdomen on the right side.My lab values have been fluxuating a bit but still within a good range so for the most part I am well.I am getting a little cabin fever not being able to get up and go like I am used to but I will do as I am told.
I have an awsome responsability to take care of the gift I have been givin.
It is very nice to be able to eat anything I want again, the renal diet I was on was very restricting.
Thats about it for now.
I will keep you informed.

Way to go Saxman!

I was just looking at your web page, and listening to some cool music. You will have to update your "About Scott", there's some great news you should add. It won't be long before you are at the waterside.

God Bless.

I think of you often Saxman. You hang in there, and before you know it you'll be as good as new. Hunting season is just around the corner you know. I'll look forward to you telling us all about your hunting adventures once again. Tom

Great to hear you are doing well. Catch up on some reading while you heal. Take it easy. You'll be flinging bolts soon.

Glad to hear you're doing OK. I'm sure you will be up and around in no time. Do you have to take anti-rejection drugs?
