This picture was taken over this last weekend in Ohio!

Now, lets hear what everyone thinks.

Hey, Woody ...

Nice picture. Did you take it?

I think that is an old doe and an early fawn!

I saw a very pregnant doe in the headlights last night ... here in NC. There are many does here on this farm that haven't dropped fawns yet.

I would definitely say EARLY! But if it survives it will definitely be a strong one having a head start on the other fawns that will be coming.

I showed this picture to a few people here at work. Some said, "Cute fawn" and some said, "Hey, it looks like it has three legs on one side". Bit of a perspective illusion. I deleted because no one here could come to a consensus. Interesting how some people see things and others don't.
BTW, it's not a mutant. :D

Yeah, you have a good point there, WW.

It does look older than just a couple of weeks.

That would mean that she had to have been bred in August/September???

Would that be possible down that way?

Nice pictures. Looks like everything is greening up in Ohio. Everything is still brown in northern wisconsin. Last years winter rye is just starting to show a little green.
