Hi all , i finally got my chronograph today , i tryed it out after work , im using a FFF Boo 26 strand string im shooting an exocet 175 my speed is 291.6 fps shooting gold tips w/ brass insert w/quickspin fletching , im fairly happy with that speed :lol:

What weight arrow are you shooting ? must be around 400 grains.

Sounds more like about 430-433 grains..

That speed sounds about right with a 400+ bolt weight.

With my exocet 200 and a 430+/- bolt I chronographed an average 321 fps.

If that 175 doesn't have Magtips on the limbs you are playing with fire, carved tips don't stand up long to fastflight before they break!

Hi , yes my exocet 175 xbow does have mag tip limbs its not very old i bought it the same year the exocet 200 & phenix came out. I have never weighed my arrows i dont have a scale of any sort , but they are 20" gold tip carbons w/ brass inserts in the front w/ 100 grain points & quick spin fletching , if any one knows what that set up would weigh i would like to know ,tks all, Dave .
