I believe they are grass carp - eat the underwater vegetation and destroy the habitat for game fish.

For me, almost an anti-hunting and fishing commercial combined.

This is the statement that promoted my last post. And no I don't think your a PITA John. You always have interesting posts and replies that I appreciate. I just think that we should maintain our freedom of speech and not worry so much about the ANTIots useless oppinions.

Oh, I'm up to speed now. I'm not worried about the anti hunting/fishing lobby outside of the voice they've developed that does get heard. It's just that if I saw that video and was on the fence. I'd be inclined to see their point.

Did you ever see Penn and Teller's 'documentary' about PETA? ROFL

The one on gun control is even funnier than that.

Back to the fish....

The grass carp are startled by the sound of boat motors and jump out of the water. Last year a lady got hurt pretty badly when she was hit in the face by a 33 pound carp as she rode her jet-ski.

Duck hunters around here are a pretty wild bunch, and I don't imagine many of them would pass up a shot on a carp jumping out of the water.
