The pair of mating Rattlesnakes in the attached pictures were photographed by Jim Winch on his ranch just east of Laredo , Texas in March of 2007

Big or small, you can keep em! I grabbed one last year to stop it from slithering away. I wanted to get a better look at it and see what it was. It rattled as soon as I touched it :shock: . Will not be touching one ever again. Any snake, any size, anywhere. No thanks. Too many other "fuzzy" critters to make nice with.
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!

we also have our share of timber rattlers here in my area of pa,and our all knowing state protects them even when they are around your buildings but removes them from the camping areas in our state parks :roll: makes sense to me :(

The way I look at it our government says they are endangered and I agree if I have a thing to kill it in my hands it is definitely in danger . :)
