The pair of mating Rattlesnakes in the attached pictures were photographed by Jim Winch on his ranch just east of Laredo , Texas in March of 2007
How would you like to wake up with these in your sleeping bags ?

Big or small, you can keep em! I grabbed one last year to stop it from slithering away. I wanted to get a better look at it and see what it was. It rattled as soon as I touched it . Will not be touching one ever again. Any snake, any size, anywhere. No thanks. Too many other "fuzzy" critters to make nice with.
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!

re
we also have our share of timber rattlers here in my area of pa,and our all knowing state protects them even when they are around your buildings but removes them from the camping areas in our state parks makes sense to me
May you be in heaven three days before the devil knows your dead
