Customizing the stock to fit

Post by Tell »

Have any of you customized the stock on your bow? I find that my arms are too short and that if I want to correctly support my bow (bone on bone) while I am standing for a shot, I either end up freehanding with my left hand, which is a shaky solution, or I support the bow where it dips up towards the trigger, which also makes for lousy balance. A stock cut with less of a dip would be perfect. Does any one else have any suggestions?

Send a PM to Catsclaw. She's had her stock shortened.

I shortened my Excalibur stock. For most people the original stock is too long. Its very easy to do.
