i have had a couple brands, my bro in law & i have 5 they are wild view stealth didgetal cameras we like them very much, there are a lot of good cameras out there ,,,reason why we chose this one.
1# batterys are , c battreys they will last 3 to 4 weeks
2# they only give you pictures,, not a weather report,, too much info saps your batterys.
3# if some idiot steals one it only cost me about $ 60.00,,, i put my cameras in a male locus tree with a cable on it.
have a nice day, hatchet jack

they say he is still up there.
I have a Cuddeback 1.3 fast trigger on first shot but takes over a minute to load picture. I have a Moultrie 100 I converted to IR, its only good watching a feeder, very slow trigger. I have a homebrew with a Olympus camera, good pictures but no time & date. Now my two favorite cameras, Leaf River IR-3BU, good trigger time, long battery life ( over a month ) very good day a night pictures and video.
Good Luck

I own a Moultrie Gamespy 200 - 3.1mp.
The first one I had I sent back due to motion sensor problems. I haven't really given the new one much of a trial run as of yet, but I got a couple pictures on it. I think the general opinion of these cameras, as mentioned are on food plots, feeders or looking straight down a trail - due to slow trigger speed.
I have taken some decent pictures with it last season. They were very clear, nice pics. It displays the time, temp, moon phase of time of shot. I like it alot.
Here are a couple pics I got last season.

I have a Cuddeback 3.0 and love it. The trigger is fast and the batteries do not eat me for lunch. I only have to put batteries in it about every five months which is twice a year for me. I put it up after gun seasons are over which is mid January and I just put in new batteries in mid June. They should last me until December when gun starts back up. I have lots of crisp clear pics and just pulled the card yesterday with sixty pics and only one blank and no butt shots! I will feel like my dog died the first time it is stolen since it cost me 400 bucks, but I feel I got what I paid for. A friend has a Moultrie and he does OK, but the batteries need replaced alot and he has lots of blanks and butt shots ( the back half of a deer as it walks by) If you have a secure place to hang it then I would get a good one. If you live in a bad area then I would try and stay cheap.
