[Sierra]

Last evening there were 4 bucks in the soybean field behind the house, about 200 yards distance. Three of the bucks were 120 class or better. I tried my grunt call on them. The bucks did not acknowledge that they heard the call.

I got out the rattle bag. Oh, Boy did that get their attention! All four bucks lifted their heads and starred straight in my direction. I was well hidden so they did not see me. My son was watching them through the binoculars, said, "Dad are you inviting them up for desert in the apple orchard?"

The deer stayed in the bean field and I checked this morning for for tree damage. All trees were fine.

I hope that I can get a good picture soon to share here, What a sight.
