Whats your favorite setup
I was interested in knowing what everyones favorite xbow/arrow/broad head/string/ etc combo for hunting and target practice is.
So brag a little about your hard earned lessons and share them with the rest of us, tell us all about your pet xbow and how you have it set up.

Well, Lotus, I ordered an Exomax and the "Right Stuff" accessory pack ... and I am still shooting the "stuff" that came in it.
Killed deer last year without problem, so I figure that "stuff" is stuff enough ... for me, anyway.
I don't doubt that I can kill deer for a few more seasons with those six arrows and broadheads.
Other's mileage may vary.
PS: I am not a "tweaker" and "fiddler" by nature. If it works OK, I'll use it.

Well..................
Only been shooting and hunting with Excaliburs for 7 or 8 years now, so I'm still experimenting with all the variables. So far my tests have led me to conclude that about any combination of Excalibur models and components (within reason and recommended specs) is very accurate and reliable.
Right now I'm shooting a Phoenix with a dacron string and 18" 2215 aluminum shafts fletched with Blazer vanes. Using 100 grain points, but thinking of going to 125 grain to improve FOC.
