What do you folks think would be good to plant this fall, about the third week of august here in western New York.

I just took some pea plants out of my garden and took them out to a friend's place. They were a variety new to me and I didn't care for them. They did grow like crazy, so I figured the deer could enjoy them. I planted snow peas really early this year and they did great even through a late frost. The seeds had about a 100% germination rate. I'll probably give them a try this fall too.

Deer like winter wheat a lot but if you are in doubt try one of the many seed blends out there.
