made me some purty hunting bolts

Ive been itching to put these new blazer 2inch tiger vanes on with the white wraps. The tiger vanes are my hunting bolts while the blaze orange ones are for practice. Just made these up about 2 hours ago 8)

all of these are between 381 and 383 grains in weight with the field points. FOC is roughly 14.75 so hopefully its about the lightest you can get with the best FOC 8)

I tried to play with little offsets but I end up fletching most of them straight with a tad little offset

Those look great! Just don't shoot any cows with them . . .

Just enough.
b, I have issues with getting the vanes to stick evenly if I use to much offset. Dunno if you have that problem or not? The straighter I fletch them, the better they go on.

JH, hahhaa, I hear ya;) I know they charge enough for the tiger striped vanes.. you get 100 for 12bucks while the plain blazers you can get 100 for 8bucks  I just wanted something different to tell me hunting ones from the practice bolts 8)

sumner, ill try not to;) if a 12pt cow walks by then its fair game :D

I really like the black/white tiger stripes. How do they fly out to 40, my blazers seemed to open up just a bit.

Where in the world do you get those blazers at that price. I saw some today at a retail store and the plain ones were $9.99 for 36. Needles to say, they're still right where I left em. Also, where do you get your wraps.

Thanks,
God Bless !!!!!!!!!
