gluing in nocks?

Post by willyhuntsdeer »

i had a doz. new gold tip laser 2's that i recently sold to a fella, i gave him both halfmoon and falt nocks with them because i didn't know what xbow he had' though it turned out (like me) he has a Horton xbow and needs the halfmoon style nocks.

due to the fact that i never used them or put any in and i have no clue wether the Horton nocks need to be glued in, he messaged me saying they fit extreamely snug and wants to know if they need glue even though they are so tight.

my best guess would be yes because of the power that the bolts hit the target with, but i don't want to mis-inform him as he is afraid of breaking the shafts if he forces them in.

BTW...the halfmoon nocks are made for the gold tip shafts.

any input that would help would be greatly appreciated...

thanks, Willy :)

I've purchased Beamen bolts whose knocks were not lnglued in. The kock was loose enough so I could turn it by hand to match the cock feather. Used them extensively, never lost a knock, still can turn them. Luminocks are not glued in either.
