Putting String On Bow

Post by dick195252 »

Hello I Got My Bow Today And I Am Following The Video. I Put The it all together up to the point of putting on the string. i use the stringer and put it on like the video shows but when i go to put the string on the bow it seems like the string is to short i put it on one end and when i go to put it on the other end it is about a half inch short... What Am I Doing Wrong? Hurry I Want To Get The Bow Together Tonight Thank You Dick

Adjust your stringer to where it is shorter and pulls the limbs back further and problem solved.

I had the same problem the first time I added string...Put your stringer on both limbs... re-adjust the stringer to as short as you can...then use rope cocker and your in.[/u]

Hello It Worked Great Shortened The Stringer And BINGO Why Do They Not Tell You That On The Video If You Look At It He Does Not Have A Long Piece Of String On Each End Hangin Out Like I Did When I Adjusted The Stringer So For US New Big Dummys To This Sport I Thought I Was Meesing Up. Again Thank You All For The Great Help. I Allso Want To Say I Have It All Together And Just Got In From My First Few Shots I Was Only One Inch High And One Inch To The Right Of Dead Center On The Bullseye At 10 Yards I Am So Impressed With The Speed Of This Bow I Just LOVE It I Am Hooked
