Hi Scott-------get a crankeroo anyway-----I got one when they first came out ------just in case-----well JUST IN CASE has happened a few times and I have never regretted buying it.---------hold a finger lightly on the little ratchet as you are cranking ---and it is very quiet----it is slower than the cocking rope-----BUT IT IS EXTREMELY EASY ON THE BODY. Hope your progress continues-----the elf-------[Lon]

YES It is good therapy, but by all means use a Crankaroo. That Equinox is a "bear" to cock w/o it.

Scott, be very careful please, but do what you can , I believe that it does help your spirit to do the things you like. GOD will be watching you so when he says stop , stop. My prayers are with you.

I admire your determination saxman, but know your limitations and don't over do it. The crankaroo might be a great idea, or till you get one have someone on hand to cock the bow for you. Your still in my prayers M&M

I think thats a great idea Scott! But like the guys say, know when to hang it back up for another day.
Have fun!

I;m just surprised someone hasn't come up with a cordless drill attachement for the crankeroo-it would be fine for target shooting

Hope you have a good and profitable time practicing, Sax.

No advice from me. You're a big boy. :D

Just be careful ... and take it easy ... and watch yourself ... and don't overdo it ... and don't hurt yourself ... and rest when you need to ... and quit when you tire ... and ...

Hope you can find a way to shoot safely & comfortably. You should be a pretty good judge of what you're capable of doing without further injuring yourself. Besides, life has to include some fun! :D
