Just Purchased Crossbow and Have a problem....

Post by pynewilly »

I recently purchased my crossbow I bought an Excalibur Phoenix. I shot it about eight times total and just realized that my recurve arm is stress cracked. I never left it cocked or abused it at all. Is this a typical flaw and if not will Excalibur be a pain in getting my bow fixed? Thanks. Steve

PyneWilly,

Have no worries Excalibur stands behind their crossbow with excellent service. Dan Miller handles the customer service for Excalibur in the USA and he is terrific. Here is his contact information:

Horizontal Archery
37432 Fifth Avenue
Sardis, OH 43946
(740) 483-2312 Phone
(740) 483-2030 Fax

You will be surprised at how fast the problem is taken care of. They really stand behind their product.

Steve . . .you have purchased one of the best bows ever made. If there is a problem . . .you have purchased a bow from the best poeple God has placed on this earth. Give them a call.

Take care and have a good week.

About the only possible pain in getting warranty service from Excalibur is if you drop the phone on your foot while calling them.
They will get the problem fixed quickly, all you have to do is call the 800 number, or give Dan Miller a call.

Danny left for Africa on Monday as a camera man again, which leaves you w/ his son "Josh". He is his father's son when it comes to xbows, which says alot. Danny [and Josh] treat every phone call like that's the only customer in the world they have. Really good people, you will be impressed.

make sure it's a crack in the limb and not just the camo finish.

I remember a few people posting pictures awhile back thinking there limb was cracked, ended up just being the camo finish.
