Remember the kid whose dad pulled a baby tooth using his compound bow and a string? I've always wondered how well a 150# crossbow would work in the same application. Today I found out.
Sorry there's no audio, I haven't figured out what I'm doing wrong on iMovieHD.

Did you hit your target? Did you recover the tooth for the fairy?
That was cool.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.

Better than the old pair of rusty pliers that was used on me. Itg is good to seethat no follow up shot was necessary.

I missed my target by 3 inches. I think the tension on the string from the tooth threw me off. Now he wants to do it with all of his baby teeth. I think I'll limit it to the ones right in front.
The tooth is MIA, but the boy still gets paid.
This is the first clip of the video with audio.

Good thing it pulled it out and didn't snag the bolt and shoot it straight back at the kid. Dude should be arrested. What a way to have your child receive a Darwin Award!

Relax, I used zero-stretch spectra line, and the line was attached at the front of the bolt. The line was almost long enough to reach the target and I did three test fires first. He was safer doing this than riding in the car.
Next week we're trying out bullriding.

When I was a kid it was a piece of string tied to my tooth and the other end attached to a door. Slammed the door closed to pull the tooth out.
I think your way is more humane.
