limbs

Post by Impossible »

Hey guys,

I recently dryfired my phoenix limbs for a second time :x ....and dont feel safe shooting them anymore. I want to send them in to be replaced...where exactly do I send them to and what kind of costs am I looking at? Also, how long will the wait be? Deer season is approaching fast and I want to be ready for it.

Thanks

Mike

If the limbs don't appear to be damaged, they probably aren't. Excalibur "torture tests" limbs by repeatedly dry-firing them and I'm led to believe most limbs will endure the tests.

I have to admit that I 've had couple of dry fires myself without any problems. I agree you should be okay without any visable damage.

Cock your bow and rub a cotton ball around and up & down the limbs, that will detect any splinters.
