Moose Hunting

Post by schnarrfuss »

Well, I have just 11 more day's till we leave to go moose hunting. Am almost ready except for some small packing and shopping for food. Anyone else here getting ready for moose hunting. THE FEVER IS HERE, time to eat, sleep and dream of Swampdonkey.

You bet!!!... I'm all ready to go, except for little odds and ends and a bit of shopping. I'm leaving next Sunday and won't be back for two weeks. Our group has one bull and two cow tags for WMU 19.

Yes, I am pumped for this hunt like you wouldn't believe. Been watching moose hunting DVD for the past 2 weeks!!!

Good Luck to your group, schnarrfuss... As well to all who are going after the Great Canadian moose... 8)

I'm going over to a buddy's wednesday night to spend the night so we can get up before the crack of dawn and head out thursday. Six of us are going to zone 24 north of Kapuskasing with a cow and a bull tag. The season opens on saturday.
I hunt, therefore I am.

Deer meat is great, but moose meat is the greatest!

Doesn't taste at all like deer.

Does moose have all that silver streak in it? More or less gamey than deer?
