where did you get these reg info. My reg book does not say what yours says.
I'm in unit 61 we start on oct 15. your page says oct 1.

The reg's were updated in June, on the 19 th I believe, so the information was posted through the MNR website as an update.
Why they would wait so long to tell us is a pain but the extra hunting time is a definate bonus.
If you are unsure about the update info call the MNR and talk to a warden. He'll clarify for you.

New archery dates

Yes it's true I picked up the updated seasons at my local MNR office
in Espanola, Ontario. There is also an additional two days of archery
only before the rifle season starts on Manitoulin Island.

I don't see any change that extends the season.... It was Oct 1 till Dec 31 last year too.... :?

i believe he's talking about the wmu's that last year were set up from mid october til nov 30th...these areas have been extended from 10/01-12/15...this is a change from last season...
