As long as you remember him, he'll never really be gone.... Keep him in your heart and mind, and pass on those ideals that he passed along to you... Then this way, his being here to father and nurture you will be a wonderful blessing.....

VixChick, sorry to hear the news but your Dads walking those streets of gold that God has promised us, never to hurt again. I lost my Dad to cancer and near the end, he was so aggravated because he was ready to go. Dad loved the Lord and I know he's happy. I know it hurts but we'll see them again.

Sorry to hear about your lose,,,,,, My dad was killed when I was 17 (electrocuted) I miss him everyday but boy-O-boy do I live on the memories,,,YOU CAN TAKE EVERYTHING I HAVE, BUT YOU CAN'T TAKE MY MEMORIES
