Well after losing a good buck Fridat night I was feeling very discouraged but kept trying and finally got one last night. I was set up in my climber on the edge of some thick bush and around 6pm I had 2 fawn's hanging around me at 10 yds. A doe came out next followd by a buck. The buck chased the doe and stopped at 35 yds and I sent a Thunderbolt on the way tipped with a Wasp Boss. All 4 deer ran away and all was quiet. By the time I got down from my stand it was almost dark so I went over and looked for my arrow or blood and found nothing. I then decided to play it safe and back out to look for it in the morning.
After a quick search, we found the front 3/4 of the bolt and very little blood. I mean VERY LITTLE blood, we were tracking it by just drops of blood. It wasn't looking good but I remembered some previous tracking jobs the same so we kept going. We found him about 80 yards from P.O.I. with a perfect double lung shot through both shoulders, slightly forward. This is the same buck I got many trail cam pics of in the summer.
