Great piece of gear. I use it mostly for bwo hunting, for which it's perfect. Last night I ranged clods of dirt and corn husks out to 200 yards. Not bad for the $.

If you ever plan on hunting out of a ground blind and taking a reading through the mesh some of the lower end ones will not do that. The cheapest one that will is the Nikon 440. Bass Pro had them on sale for under $200 a couple of weeks ago. You can find them on Ebay for $175 or so if you look. To me $50 more for one that does it all is worth paying for.
