Well I used the Ten Point on this Guy. I shot him on Saturday at 4:20 P.M. He came in from my far left and I could not get a good shot on him. It was killing me that he was ten yards and I could not get a shot. But after around 3 or 4 minutes he moved across my shooting lane and at 18 yards a four bladed wasp went through both lungs and the top of his heart. He jumped about four feet in the air and ran out of there. He stopped at about 40 yards and started to wobble and then he went down. I was so excited and shaking so bad I had to stay up in the tree for around twenty minutes or so before I could get safely down. In fact he was standing 2 feet from the 12 pointer I shot last week when I shot him. And he died 20 feet from where the 12 pointer died as well. He is a eight pointer with his G2 coming in just over 11 inches. And 21 inches across. And he weighed 242 pounds field dressed. With the guts out. He is my third heaviest deer ever and the second biggest with archery.
his neck is 38 inches around where it joins his shoulder. I had to have a hand with this guy getting him out of the woods. I dragged him behind the fourwheeler for about 50 yards then I dressed him and put him on a trailer. But it took two of us everything we had to load him. I also have a his Sheds from last year from this buck so it will look cool with his Sheds next to the mount of him. My 7 year old has already claimed him for his room.
