Now, I'm a skeptic when it comes to these scents and stuff but I actually had a small forked horn buck come to this thing and had an absolute fit. I had put it out this afternoon on the edge of a cut corn field with the wind blowing from the corn field into a thick pine field. This little four pointer busted out into the field on a dead run. He stopped about 75 yards into the field and turned around, looking back to where he had just come out. Well, my first thought was that a larger buck had chased him off and I got ready to shoot. But he took off again and ran right back to the edge of the field. Ya'll, I had TOTALLY forgot that I had put that machine out until that little buck stuck his nose right up against it and took off again, running in a circle, coming back to the machine again. I could not believe what I was seeing. That deer just lost his mind. I'm not kidding. It was unbelievable. At one point, he almost stood up on his hind legs trying to get to the machine. Maybe it's just that time of the rut that they will respond to anything, I don't know. I'll tell you this though, that machine will be hanging down wind of a ridge that has a lot of scrapes on it in the morning. I'm taking the camera this time
