I have been hunting with a crossbow since 1995. Have had 2 Exocets and now a Phoenix. I have harvested 40 deer with the crossbow and 17 with the compound since that year. Glad I keep a journal of my deer harvests it is neat to look back to 76 when I took my first and see where and how.

I don't know but I have 3 boxes of horn and that does not count the does.

This year an 8 and a 6 pointer. I really want to shoot some doe but luck is against me and I keep seeing bucks.

5 Total with Crossbow. Converted gun hunter who now uses a crossbow to hunt Urban Bucks. This is my 2nd season with Crossbow. Last year got two 8 pts and one 10 pt. Also a doe with a bigger body than the 8 pts. So far this season another big doe. Between the drought and the April freeze the deer are moving differently.

In my third year of xbow use and I've taken 5 whitetail deer, 3 Sika deer and 3 turkeys with it. Still have the rest of this year to finish out so maybe I can add a little to that number.

This is my first year hunting with a crossbow - Excal Vortex - and have taken two bucks and a doe. All three were good shots - each deer ran less than 75 yards. Now I am hoping to get a shot at a turkey.

Got my Phoenix last year around Christmas and I've killed 5 doe with it this season. One doe with my MZ loader, a 7 pointer and coyote with my .243.

It's been a good season so far. Still hunting for a monster.

Good luck and God Bless.
