Don't honestly know the exact numbers, but I've been crossbow hunting since 1999 or 2000 and usually get 2 a year with the crossbow.

On my fourth Excal bow now, All have taken Deer each year. I imagine the best way to count would be to look in the photo album's eh?
I'm thinking with Crossbow's about, nine or ten, the rest with guns.
My favourite Excal was the exomag I sold to Desertrat on here. That bow was a killer bow! It knew all by itself when to shoot and where. If your reading this desertrat and you ever want to sell it back , you know how to reach me. Just kidding, I hope it is working out good for you.

Been hunting with xbows since xcal was started. Had a slow start since my original two bows were barnets and they really sucked. Started harvesting with a wolverine and the limbs had a layer separation problem due to some bad resin. I called xcalibur and was very well looked after. That was near 20 years ago and Bill was just as amazing then as a buisnessman as he continues to be. Had 3 xcals since and have settled for a paradox, I really like it and it seems to do me well in return. I am in the low 20's on deer overall and got a nasty big tom turkey with it as well.

Thank god for excalibur and the money to buy tags!

This is my first year with the xbow and I have killed 1 doe with it so far (see the "Bossy must die!" thread). Last year was my first full season deer hunting and I killed one buck with the rifle. Ya'll don't think 39 years old was too young to get started hunting do you?

I've been xbow hunting (Exomag) for three years now and thus far took:

1 dollar (I mean buck) and 1 doe (working on my 2nd buck this weekend)

I agree with the poster that says "it's alot more fun with an xbow" I will be turkey hunitng in 08 with my xbow.

FYI I fletch my own bolts (2216's) and use a 100g broadhead.

I normally only trophy hunt during the early seasons...

as for ML and shotgun deer totals.. I cant count LOL with kill permitts, normally average 20 deer plus per year

This is my 1st year,had shoulder surgery on Oct 25th so Iam just getting out,my father-inlaw is in the ICU at a Fargo Hospital so that has taken up my time also but Sunday I will get to be out all day.May the deer Gods be with me...My season goes thru Dec so I have alittle time left.
