Are you one of the guys who hunt the fields at the top of the hill behind Devils Elbow during the shotgun season? Technically that isn't Devils Elbow property. I been trying to figure out who you are. Cuz you'd be in big doo doo if they find out you were hunting on their property...

I shoot a Darton Maverick set at about 65 Ibs. It is about 5 years old. Haven't had it out yet this season, but it is really fun to shoot. Have shot 2 buck's with it so far though.

Just bought a Parker Buckhunter XP, 40 - 50 lbs set on 45, 28" draw. Whisker biscuit rest, Toxonics fiber optic sight.

Don't have a photo yet but here's one from their web site:

Shoots like a dream.

My old bow was a 65 lb Onieda and I had problems with drawing it, no problems with this one set on 45.

A blast from the past, Bob!

My first compound was a Bear Whitetail Hunter ... a six-wheel bow that I bought in 1976 with money from my first "real" job when I was 11 ... mowing a 3 acre cemetery with a 20" push mower and trimming it with a sickle. It took me three solid days every two weeks!

I wish I'd kept that bow now. I gave it to a friend.
