O/T The 2 CRAZIEST Things I Have EVER Seen

Square A and B are the same shade of grey!

When you re-arrange the sections of this triangle you loose a square!

I thought something fishing was going on..... so I printed this off, and re-arranged it. It works... I'm so confused. The only explanation I have, is somehow each section on the lower triangle is VERY SLIGHTLY smaller; which adds somehow to the area of 1 square.

What am I missing on the first one? Maybe it's too early in the morning for me, but they don't look the same to me...

Never mind....I figured it out.

I solved the triangle one in about two seconds, pretty simple to figure out.

Now the first one.... they look totally different shades.

In the first one I think the trick is that "Square" A and the "letter" B are the same shade of grey. It doesn't say that "Square A" and "Square B" are the same.

Get it?

Nah...Not really. Sometimes you just have to look beyond the obvious.

no no.

in the first one the squares are actually the same shade. There really is nothing to figure out on that one.

Here's proof..... try it yourself if you don't believe it.

All I did here; was crop out the squares with the eraser tool; then clear some crap out from around them, then move them together

Wow that is crazy. See Tye, I'm not that smart. :D

I guess it has something to do with the shadow cast from the pilar.
