He may not be the biggest deer here on the forum but he was big enough to ride home in the back of my truck. Dad had three deer come in to him but this one made the mistake of turning broadside .After the shot they ran off maybe 30 yards and stood around waiting for this one to get up .He has not shot a deer with the bow for a couple of years so he was quite happy .
We see where you got the name Doe Master . Nice doe, she'll look a lot better on the table. Your Dad looks happy. Your blessed to have your dad hunting with you.
You are right Ray ,I am blessed to have a father who used to to take me and my brother hunting, fishing or just plain out in the outdoors with him instead of leaving us at home .It is a joy to return that now . I got to be there for his first turkey ,he was as happy as a teenage boy on prom night.Too often we take things for granted like our parents are always going to be there .
Wabi as for the cold it was not that bad,but he did not do the dragging .He carried my bow while I dragged.
RJ the boys were up at the river on saturday for a short but not that many were flying then.
