TEAM FLORIDA MAKING A RUN
Sunday morning (1/27/08) about 8:30 a.m. I called in this small 7 point buck to within 50 yards of my stand to unoffically tag out of the deer contest. The Florida rut is in full swing down here and I was setup in the core area of a 10 point buck I have been trying to kill for the past 3 years. Kenton, In accordance to the team rules, I will continue to rut hunt on my property before I offically submit him with measurements for scoring within the 2 week period. I still have 3 larger 8 point bucks frequenting my biologic plot each day and hope to take one of them before the 2 week rule runs out.

yes its my old 54 cal. smokepole. thought I would give it a go since I would be hunting real thick areas trying to kill a buck I have hunted for 3 years. I needed to anchor him close to where he would be hit. killed this one on the last day I could hunt there.wabi wrote:Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!
Is that a T/C renegade?

[quote="JBO"]Nice buck, a few more pic's of your rig, looks great![/quot
its a kawasaki mule with a homemade lift on the back that raised up to ten feet. The lift is controlled by a winch that has switches inside of the blind. the hitch is used to pull the mule around hunting areas when I dont want to drive long distances. I also have another winch to lift my kill up and haul it out of the woods (see hog picture) . It can also be used to clean my game after a kill. This rig works great for me as I am completly mobile and dont leave any scent around the hunting area. I often move my mobile blind from one place to another during a hunt to cut off a particular buck I am hunting. Most of all...I dont need help from anyone and I am completly independant when I hunt, something I cherish now while my health holds up.
some pictures a hunter took when he walked up on me hunting..he couldnt believe what he saw;
successful hog hunt;
a mornings kill;
