Crossbow Action Cam

Post by seeelk »

This is one very cool item for anyone who wants to film their hunt. I purchased one on sale in Spokane and now need to figure out how to mount it to the rail of my Excalibur. I was able to find it all over the web, but didn’t want to wait for the mail. Use the link or google, “Oregon Scientific Action Cam” The best price I found was at www.compuvisor.com
$84.95 and $4.99 shipping USD.

You could probably mount that on a Groundpounder mount.

Croow Cam

Post by seeelk »

I first saw this Cam at work, our truck driver got one for Christmas, he says it last for several hours on a set of double A's. It takes up to a 2 gig SD card, with a 2 gig SD card you can get one hour of video. I just got the cam yesterday. I have shot some indoor and outdoor video. A much better video outdoors, not near as grainy. I will go back out now and shoot a test and post it on here.

What do you think about the rangefinder mount that goes above the scope?

That might work.

Crossbow Cam

The cam can be mounted anywhere, it spins in its housing, I would like to mount it under the rail, out of the way. I just need to get to Cabelas and pick up a weaver rail. I will post a picture after it is done.

Or does it have a zoom? I bought a camera for a similar set up but it lacked a zoom and at 20 yards you could barley see the deer.

Looks good, I wonder how the shock of the bow will treat it.

Simply mounting job, two screws should do the trick. [img][/img][img][/img]
