Some interesting facts on this years contest.

60% of participants harvested deer.

76 deer were submitted- awsome guys!
(more than half of deer submitted were taken with an Excalibur).

Quickshot submitted the highest scoring buck with a score of 40 out of 45.

The winning team (team florida underdogs) was the only team to submit 9 deer.

Thanks for all the effort you put into this Kenton!!!!!!
I look at it not as a contest, but a good way to put my season in perspective. Not only our hunting ability goes into it, but the deer numbers, bag limits, and season lengths pay a big part in the outcome. It's interesting to see how others do, and compare our abilities & opportunities!

congrats to everyone.. I know it definitly added some fun to viewing the forum everynight!

BTW, the winners all get new TC prohunters or Relayers right :D That goes for the individual scores to

I was shocked that some of us southern and eastern states did as well as we did since I expected a blowout due to the vast antler difference up north in Canada and out in the mid US from Iowa to Ohio. Rich, congrats man.. 1st and 5th in the individaul for team Va kicked butt.. wish he had another team member LOL :P :P

all in all, job well done everyone and thanks again Kenton for taking this task on. I think he needs a free shirt, decal, or something for adding up the totals day and night 8)

Team FL, goodjob guys.. No one would expect the farthest state south to produce, but ya'll definitly did! Good teamwork! But be ready for this year, cause Team Va will come strong again :P

Thanks Kenton for your work running the contest.

For CF, we made a heck of a 2 man team, to place 4th in the contest says a lot for Team VA. To put it into perspective how good we have it here in VA, if our invisible 3rd partner had scored 3 of his 4 deer I know he killed we would have ended up with a minimum total score of 244. And you and I didn't even score our best bucks (my best was an 19 3/4 inch 8 point and yours was even better). We will be a force to be reckoned with next year when we get of full team of 3 players. All VA hunters, CF and I will be taking applications for the 3rd member in the near future (only serious hunter need apply :D :D )

For Scott, Your Hank Jr. line was our victory song everynight as we left the woods. My buddy Clay and I would blast the speakers with Hank Jr as we drove home.

Rich, mine wasnt alot better.. pics the one with the kickers in the sig pic under this post. Just a basic 20inch spread and 8mainframe :D

We still dont have huge deer here, but its quite a few decent bucks but decent here are 110-125B&C'ers though. If you find a 150plus, you have done something right. MD's got the gaints now LOL :D

can anyone say turkey contest  That would be fun LOL.. post the weight, inches of beard, and spurs.... Max of 3, excal bow is bonus 3... bow is bonus 2 :D etc etc etc
