John
Well the first prize goes to Schnarrfuss, he gets two of my strings. Second prize of the LED light goes to Sunset. Third and fourth goes to Fishn-huntr and Particle. Third and fourth prizes are broadheads so since it is a tie maybe you guys can PM me and tell me which one you would like to have and maybe it will work out and maybe I'll have to work it out. Congratulations to all who entered and were considered. Please send me a PM with your shipping address and or information/choice.
I fully intend to do this again next year and I hope to offer better prizes so lets take five minutes on our next harvest and think about it before pushing that button. Photochopping counts too! Regardless of all the stinking flack that I took over mentioning better pictures I hope this makes us all better ambassadors of our sport!

Congratulations to all who entered!
I'd guess the end results will probably benefit us all. I look forward to seeing a lot more "professional" looking pics next season. I might even break down and get a better camera so I can participate next year!
(I did break down and order a new battery for my present camera this week - I posted a pic in the general forum last year, but my battery died after 2 pics, and they weren't very good. )

On behalf of my neighbour I'd like to thank all the members who reviewed the many entries and cared enough to share their thoughts and comments as well as to those who sent their vote our way. Our sincere thanks goes out as well to Boo for initiating this contest and for generously providing the list of prizes. The contest was a lot of fun and created a lot of interest in the "off season." Will be looking forward to viewing the entries for next season which I'm sure will be even better.
Congratulations everyone.

OK you winners. Please email your shipping info. I am having some hats made so hopefully in a week or two I'll have them and send them along with the prizes.

Hey you winners, can you post the winning pictures here? It would be nice for the others to see what kind of thing is good and that may win this coming year's contest. I really do mean it when I say that I intend to offer better prizes so hopefully picking the winner will be a bit more difficult. May be just one or two bigger prizes!

Thanks again Boo, this was extremely generous of you. At my rate, I should get another shooter buck in 10 years and then I just have to remember to take a nice picture if you're still running your contest then. This was my entry that tied for 3rd.

Good idea Boo. The 2007 Trophy Room thread is rather lengthy and time consuming to scroll thru all the submissions. To simplify, here is the 2nd place photo as judged by the Excalibur forum family. Thanks again to all the members who participated in this event.
