I have been using GT L2's for many years for hunting, and have been using eastons for the target bow. The eastons have an extra 42grs( bare shaft) over the L2's and come with the usual Easton arrow finish. With the Eastons shafts I shot a custom poured 190gr Easton 2117 Nibb, to get my desired FOC. Great arrow, but not alot of insert options available, at the last time I looked. Just installed a customed GT L2 brass insert into a 20in Easton shaft, just need to fletch it and I'll be feild testing it. By my estimated calc's, I'm figuring it will weigh 514-520 grs all said and done.
Definitly the Easton shafts take a little more prep-work for quality fletch adhesion over the GT L2's.

Have had great results with vane adhesion (and seeing arrow flight) by spraying the back 7" of the shaft with white lacquer. Most glue sticks great, vanes strip off easier and the lacquer come off presto with acetone.

I agree.Grizzly Adam wrote:Now there's a good reason for haviing and using something, Sax ... just because you like it.saxman wrote: I would like some camo arrows cause I like em.
Good for you!
I found some Blackhawk crossfire camo carbon but the shaft was only rated for 95-195lbs so I didn't get them.
How do I know I'm getting the proper spine when I buy some?
