equinox or vortex

I love the thumbhole. the equinox is faster but also a little longer which could make it harder to hold accuratly. The vortex is a little slower but shorter and cheaper. Which would you buy and why?

It is really up to you do you need the extra fps and have the extra cash, because it ain't going to make any difference to the deer as the bolt is passing through. i bought the Exomax because it was the fastest and newest at the time but my buddy's 185lb exomag has killed lots more deer.

Either one is more than enough for deer as far as power. The extra speed gives a very small edge on ethical shot distance.

Personally, I'd go with the vortex, then add STS sound dampers and a "catwhiskered" Boo string to help silence it. (Boo is a forum member who makes the best strings available)
