Back from the Taxidermist

Post by RyanB »

Just thought I would post a picture of my mount I just got back Saturday. First mount I have had one and am more than impressed. My brother also got his back (between my father, brother and I) we shot 3 bucks in the period of 10 minutes on the last day of the Shotgun hunt in WMU80.
This was the first deer I had had mounted and the job is just simply amazing...it looks better than real life in person! The guy I had do it does it on the side and in the past has been in many taxidermy competitions with more trophy's in his hunting room than actual mounts!!!

Anyway, here are some before and after pics.

Diesel...just saw you posted to my thread. Quite a while ago I was pm'ing you about diesel stuff. Just wanted to let you know I got the truck done and it really pours out the coal. Here is a video from this season. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PjQlcBVhRk

PS...thanks for all the comments on the mount. It is not huge by any means but its the memories from the hunt, that just looking at it makes it all worth it

He's a friend of a friend. He did a turkey tail mount for me and has my european spike right now. I find his prices are good and he does quality work.

Yeah, my father and his father are friends! Price was good. $400...I think it was a good price anyway. Whats the going price for a shoulder mount?
