Birdy day

Post by raydaughety »

Tyler hasn't seen his grandpa since he moved to Missouri 2 years ago. He's in town for a week or so. I booked a quail hunt for Tyler's birthday and we had a wonderful time. Tyler out shot me bigtime. We'll pop the breasts out, marinate em, wrap em in bacon and put em on the grill. Tyler sure has missed his Pop Pop.

My first grandson is six months old now. When seeing pictures like this it just makes me so excited about the prospect of hunting with him.

I think I will wait until he is at least a year old.

Thanks guys, Tyler's birthday is actually April 8th but with is grandpa being here we decided to do something special. Before George moved away, we'd go bird hunting about twice a month after deer season but haven't been in a while. I really had a difficult time hitting a bird. I think it's because of the chair, I'd never tried to shoot birds from a sitting position until yesterday but the real fun was watching Tyler make some incredible shots, including 3 doubles 8) This farm holds some precious memories. It's where Tyler asked Jesus Christ to save his soul, ( we were actually on the way home from a hunt) what a blessed day that was :D :D .

God Bless,
God Bless !!!!!!!!!
