Any tips to keep practice points from coming loose
Just looking for a way to keep tips from working themselves loose while shooting, I would prefer to not use loc-tite, even blue.

Hey Pydpiper,
Try rubbing wax on the threads before screwing them on your bolts.
I have found this works, but I also have 1 set of arrows for target & 1 set for hunting.
The target bolts I use pliers on to give the tip an extra bit of torque.
Shoot Straight

A bad day hunting, is better then a good day of work
I use a very thin rubber O ring between the tip and the arrow. When tightening the tip the O ring compresses and creates tension on the threads so the tip does not come loose. They do not add any noticeable weight nor effect the accuracy or speed.
You sure you can skin griz, pilgrim??

I use wax on the threads of all my x-bow bolts except for the scope mount bolts,I use blue loct tite on them.
I dont use field tips much,I shoot only broadheads.

Finger tight they come loose..........grip the arrow by the shaft with an arrow puller and tighten the FP with a pair of pliers.......they don't come loose. It'll test how secure your insert is too.......don't overtighten.
