Hamilton - deer photos

Post by jpscribbler »

I work at the newspaper in Hamilton and recently asked readers for pix of wildlife in their backyards. We want to do a story on urban wildlife and deer population out of control. Here is a small selection of what they sent. I thought I'd share -- check out the big buck in pix #2.

Cheers,

Jp

Great shots.
I like the first one with the doe on the steps, and the coyote photo.

deer photos -

The photos are from Spectator readers. Tomorrow we are publishing a large story on the deer population and how some suburban areas are overrun. We will have a large web presence with several photos. It's worth checking out the story and pix tomorrow at -- thespec.com

Madmax - The photo was taken in the woods off Mohawk Road just east of the 403 so it's highly likely it's the same buck. Residents say there are over 50 deer in that area. The photo on tomorrow's front page is taken in the same area.
