Poll - deer population - story in Hamilton Spectator

Post by jpscribbler »

Readers are lighting up our newspaper website with comments about our Saturday story on deer. We have a poll question about controlling the deer population. The question is:

"Deer are growing to be a nuisance in some urban areas. Should steps be taken to reduce the population? Take the poll and Have Your Say on this issue by clicking here to comment"

So far the poll is running two to one in favour of leaving the deer alone.

I thing it is good to keep the general population involved .if we do it right we can keep some of them on are side.we have to keep in mind the public sees anamels on the roads dead and alive.they o not see the deer starving and damaging there habitat .

Sent my opinion as well. :) Probably not what most like to hear. Hunting is a part of my blood and your's. We need to keep as much of it growing as possible.
