Carbon arrows for Phoenix?

Post by Darren »

I`m looking at a Phoenix/Right Stuff Vari Zone purchase through Bowhunters Super Store with post to Romania. Having read a lot on here about arrow choice (carbon & aluminium) Gold Tip Lazer II`s seem a popular choice amoung many of you guys. Now for the big question, bearing in mind that i`m ordering through BHSStore, do i go with 6 Excalibur GT Lazer II`s at $41.00 or 1 Dozen Gold Tip Laser II 20" Crossbow Bolts (Flat Butt), at $53.00. Can anyone tell me if there is any difference apart from quantity between the two?

Darren,

Just looked at the BHSS website, looks like the only differance is the plastic nock on the GT II's. Don't know the overall weight though or what front inserts are used.

Go for the Lumizone instead of the Varizone-better light gathering with the larger objective lens.

Everyone says Dan miller is the best place to get excalibur stuff. I do not have his address or phone but he comes highly recommended and he has everything you will need.

Good luck, Stosh
