Those are awesome pics thank you for sharing and keep'em commin. I am getting the itch in a BIG way. I need to get a good camera with a good telephoto lens. I am seeing critters but a long way off the road and don't want to trespass to get close for good pics. However that takes many brown bills that are few and far between right now, 2 little ones in diapers are gobbling them up lol. Someday.

Im impressed with how well the deer look. They appear to have they made it through the winter in great shape. One looks like she is pregnant. I've been watching my own heard and noting which ones are carrying and wondering why all the adult does are not. The Alpha does are all carrying where as the others are mostly not. It's interesting watching the relationship of Alpha does and the others. The boss doe will raise up and flail at other deer if they get too close and the others know it and will generally scoot if she walks towards them. I have three heards of deer who sometimes will feed in the same field. They keep their distance between each other and if a deer from one group gets near another they will run it off. I don't know how any of this relates to hunting strategy but feel the more I know the better. By the way, the big males get along with each other and will co-mingle with the other heards with no problem.
