I paid 3.19 a gallon the other day. It cost 73.00 to fill up my truck. Gas will probably continue to rise too. I have collected 10 of those bills in the last two weeks. I thought they were new too but they were printed in 2005. They probably arn't worth the paper they are printed on unfortunately.

I work in Washington DC, and today I watched a whole bunch of truckers drive around in circles through the city while laying on their horns, in protest of a bunch of issues concerning them, one of which was the gas prices. It lasted for about two hours. It was pretty cool to hear all those air horns going off at once. Pretty sad too though.

Hate to admit it, but I can remember buying 3 gallons for under $1.00
$3.34/gal here today - that's 3 gallons for just over $10.00!!!!!!!!!
That's a 1000% increase in price since I owned my first car.

Seven years ago put monies into a mutual fund with Gold, CDN $, hydro and oil. Was a GREAT idea, didn't think anything like this would happen. I feel the pinch now but the retirement should be good.
Almost tripled my initial investment. Not bad.

What's pretty sad is the fact that all costs are going up as a result of this. Just check on food price increases in the past 6 to 8 months. Oh well when people can't afford to eat then the problem will be resolved. It's called "revolution"! A hungry stomach has no conscience... Not a single incumbent will be reelected.
