Mine sneaks in the bed between the wife and I any chance she gets :D . Hard to say no when she gives me the sad puppy face.

my son has a golden lab, he is getting old now but when he was young each time they came back from duck hunting on a cold day, my sons wife would give him a warm bathe then wrap him in a blanket ( the dog) .
