Some pictures from 4/11 trip to Virginia

Post by sumner4991 »

Went to Virginia on spring break with my two girls. Had to go on a nature hike. Here are a few pictures. The deer looked very fat, especially for this time of year. They had a good winter. The pictures were taken around 4/11/08.

There are 6 deer in this group . . .if you look close, you can see two . . .

I was using this cow to hide from the deer underneath. It was 110 yards away and moving slowly my way. But, the kids got bored and we keep looking for more . . .

Various deer photos . . .

That ground hog made a good meal for the five buzzards that ended up fighting for it. My Grandfather is in his 90's and is still deadly with the .22 mag even with his cataracts. The cataracts are bad, but, not bad enough for his insurance to pay for the removal. Check this out, he is hoping the cataracts will get worse over the next 3 months so he can have them removed. These insurance companies . . . .
