Saturday morning turkey hunt

Post by peter p »

We managed to get one each but we had to settle for jakes.
We seen several jakes through out the day but no gobblers.
We called them in at different times of the day.
Congrats to all successful hunters and good luck to all.

Good job boys. We may end up settling for Jakes too unless we can figure out how to get the big boys in close enough. Still lots of time left.

Here the law says it must have a beard to be legal. I've shot a few that barely met the requirements.
A lot better eating, and often hard to get after those big ones have put a "whipping" on them a time or two.

Congratulations!!!!
