First of all, congrats to all the successful turkey hunters. It appears we have some bona-fide turkey experts on this forum.
I have been busy planning a dinner for the Natural Resource school here at Ohio State. Three years ago a girl in the school was killed when her bike was struck by a car. The Ohio Division of Wildlife is donating $25,000 to a scholarship fund in her name, and this event will kick off that scholarship. Another example of why the Ohio DOW is first rate.
The keynote speaker for tonight’s dinner is a professor from University of Kentucky who was responsible for reintroducing elk into the state. I have been so busy because I was asked to be the Master of Ceremonies. I hope to represent the school and outdoorsmen alike in a good manner. Wish me luck!
